Hello! I am an independent curator, speaker and writer based in Berlin, focusing on ecological and social topics. I have developed exhibitions for e.g. the Museum of Fine Arts (MdbK) Leipzig (Zero Waste, 2020), the Galerie im Körnerpark (Silent Spring, 2022) and the Künstlerhaus Lauenburg (Fluid Futures, 2024), as well as transdisciplinary programmes for institutions such as the Hamburger Bahnhof - Nationalgalerie der Gegenwart and the Urania Berlin.
With my projects, which address issues of climate justice and the interrelationships between social and ecological crises, I aim to open up spaces for counter-movements, new forms of community and more-than-human perspectives, thus contributing to the debate on a sustainable cultural landscape.
In 2020, I curated the exhibition project Zero Waste at the Museum of Fine Arts Leipzig together with Hannah Beck-Mannagetta. The group exhibition showcased international positions in contemporary art that point out the urgency to save resources, consume less, and live more sustainably. The exhibition took a critical look at the current condition of our planet but also aimed to keep the ecological footprint of the project as small as possible, to make it transparent, trying to compensate it and to inspire others. In 2024, Zero Waste was nominated for the WIRKMÄCHTIG Culture4Climate award.
I was working as a lecturer at Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design Halle and University Potsdam and currently teach at Hochschule für Gestaltung (HfG) Offenbach. Additionally, I work with the youth council of Weltacker Berlin e.V. and I am involved in SALOON Berlin, a network for FLINTA* in the arts industry.
